The Flow Couch is part of a new line of products I designed during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown period. It was designed to be extremely durable, for high-traffic environments such as airport waiting lounges. The fabric chosen is from the Dutch-made Wise Collection, with a double rub count of 60,000, designed to be easily cleaned.
The flat surface of the cushions allows a person to stretch out if a delayed flight leaves them staying at the airport overnight — and cushions may be omitted, leaving sections to place passenger bags.
The clothing rail system is designed with interchangeable segment profiles and tube lengths, allowing customers to order the rail to suit their personal requirements. The far-left segment, which accommodates coats, is tall enough to keep boots from touching longer garments.
